2017 marked a property re-assessment year in the Province of Saskatchewan. For the 2017 taxation year, the Saskatoon Office of Brunsdon Lawrek & Associates reviewed the property tax assessments of 260 properties for accuracy and fairness. 41% of those assessments were found to be too high. Appeals were filed for 106 properties and 74% of the appeals were successful; resulting in reductions in assessment totaling $41,139,960, which translates to an aggregate property tax savings of $484,174.
